Our Team

Ted Leck, Lead Chaplain & Founder

Ted has served as a chaplain with Toronto Fire since 2016, as well as Billy Bishop FD, and Huntsville & Lake of Bays FDs. He has collaborated and supported Toronto Police as well as the OPP on multiple occasions. As a chaplain, Ted regularly checks in on EMS paramedics and 911 dispatchers. Ted also served as a chaplain in a northern school board and a minister for 33 years.

Beth Bierworth, Chaplain & Executive Assistant

Beth serves as a chaplain in the north. Being married to an OPP officer with 19 years experience, Beth has a front row experience in understanding the pressures on emergency service providers. She is also a dedicated advocate for people in need, as she actively serves in a variety of important roles in Manitouwadge, ON.

Network of Volunteer Chaplains

Our chaplains serve in different settings across the province. Some of our chaplains wear dual hats serving as both, firefighters & chaplain. We all share a common goal … to show up in person and support First Responders in Ontario. Our team has over 100 years of chaplaincy experience in emergency services. It is an honour to serve our heroes!
